If you’ve never heard of Ohio-based ambient/New Age artist Angela Klimek, a.k.a. poemme, then you’re not going to want to miss tonight’s edition of Spiral. We’re huge fans of Angela’s beautifully calming slow-drone pieces, touched lightly by the sounds of nature as a backdrop to gently evolving sonic textures. This is the musical equivalent of a nice mug of hot cocoa on a really cold night, and as we enter the chilly month of December, what could be better?

Tonight we’ll hear poemme’s first album, Soft Ice, in its entirety, as well as Angela’s most recent release from a few months ago, Moments In Golden Light. We’ll also have a couple of sample tracks from the new (to our library, at least) EP Day Arc and her recent album Escape To Blue. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate this beautiful music for a couple of hours before we hand off to Tony Gerber for a very special live duo concert.

We look forward to seeing you in our Slack chat, or in Second Life, where our magical Gypsy Witch has taken inspiration from the coming of winter and turned RadioSpiral HQ in the Orlov sim into a snowy wonderland, complete with ice skating and hot cocoa, so dress warm and come on by.

Immediately after my show will be a one-hour live performance from Tony Gerber, featuring guest artist Massood Taj, from Tony’s Nashville studio. Tony’s Sunday concerts are now being broadcast on https://radiospiral.net after my show every week, making a full 3-hour Ambient Sunday experience. If you’re in Second Life, you can visit with friends in either Orlov or Tony’s place in Spindrift sim—the audio feed will be the same regardless, and as always, Slack chat will remain open all the way through.

The magic begins at 9/8/7/6 PM E/C/M/PT on RadioSpiral! Please join us.
