Tonight’s show is an exploration of what ambient, electronic, and experimental musicians have to say when they don’t want to take a lot of time to say it. That’s right, loyal listeners — it’s time for a collection of short songs!
The 107 songs on tonight’s show are surprisingly self-contained; not many of them are transitions or interludes to other pieces. A fair number of them are from artists who make an occasional habit of doing short songs deliberately: More than half of tonight’s tracks come from EugeneKha, Michael Bruckner, Ozone Player, ontol, CASSIEL, and Mr.Spiral himself. We’ll also hear tracks by Crystal Awarenes, Frank Hiehusmann, Cousin Silas, and Ars Sonor from the Aural Films tribute album Biography: Raymond Scott.
As for the rest?
