When I decided to rename my show so it no longer shared part of a name with the station in general, I gave a lot of thought to what I wanted to bring across in my time on the air every week. Since my shows tend to be a casual stroll through seltzer and soundscapes, I finally settled on the simple and memorable name Meander.
Tonight on Meander, we feature a wide variety of music on the prosaic but meaningful activity of simply taking a walk. We’ll walk through tracks by Syndromeda, Joe Frawley, Wolfgang Gsell, ontol, zen rat, Joe McMahon, Sensitive Chaos, Robert Dorschel, The Tunnel Singer, Shane Morris, and Chromadrift, and maybe have time for an Ambient slantRant, too.
