That basically says it all. Tonight on the Main Events Stage at the Second Life SciFi Expo, a virtual gathering of science fiction fans from all over the world to raise money for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life, my virtual avatar Spiral Sands will be playing a live set, complete with a fully improvised layout that has marvelous potential for becoming the musical equivalent of a Falcon Heavy detonating on the launch pad. Whee!
The set will be at least an hour long, and I might stretch it a bit since there’s no one on the Main Stage after me. When I’m done, I’ll walk across the street (literally) to the RadioSpiral booth and spin archived live music until the end of my scheduled time, so you’re free to stick around as long as you want.
The fun begins at 9/8/7/6 PM sharp (E/C/M/PDT). You can just listen in on the station, join us in Slack chat (I either won’t be saying much or not there at all because live show), or best of all, come to the Expo in Second Life and see the show in person, complete with live light show by Gypsy Witch in addition to the great graphic animation effects provided on the Expo Stage. (We will not be simulcasting on YouTube video, sorry.) See you there!
