Sometimes it’s nice to have someplace to go and quietly listen to music. For some reason, I think tonight is one of those times.
Tonight I’m playing new music from two artists in the RadioSpiral family, tracks which share a “space” theme. In our first hour, we’ll hear several 2-part and 3-part compositions from Ocean in a Bottle (ranging from Mars to Pluto), and in our second hour, we’ll feature excerpts from Inhaling Darkness – The Cassini Chronicles by grum~pe. This is the far end of space music: brooding and a bit noisy, with moments of clarity that shine through in beauty. Fascinating and absorbing stuff.
There might also be a Live Ambient microRant, but we will have to see how I’m feeling at the time.
