This week’s Meander concludes my multi-week listen to Space Drift music with a subset that I’ve been avoiding up until now: specifically, the stuff I’ve contributed to in one way or the other.
In the first hour of tonight’s show, you’ll hear tracks from the album it’s come 2 this by mindSpiral (my 2006 planetarium show with Nick Rothwell, Paul Vnuk Jr, and Greg Waltzer) and all three albums – Bandwidth, Ballistic, and Beneath Stars – from the late and rarely lamented Team Metlay, stretching back 30 years. (Yikes.)
In the second hour, I will do a full replay of one of my most successful releases ever: 1995’s A Huge And Silent Place by ozma. After the show, I might do a Live Ambient Rant depending on how I’m holding up (still recovering from a 25-hour fast here).
As usual, the fun begins at 9/8/7/6 PM E/C/M/PDT. Join us in Slack chat, in the big treehouse watching the stars in Second Life, or just listen in at home, as you drift away with us one more time…
