Tonight’s show marks the last time that Meander will be on a Monday night at its current (earlyish) time slot. Family commitments and schedule changes have steered me toward a new time slot, and I sincerely hope that my audience will make the change with me.
Tonight we feature the music of Alex Ring Gray, with selections from his Apollo EP and Satellite Images album. In our second hour, after my Live Ambient slantRant, we will feature Spiral Suite: Burning Forests, a generative music suite created in the station’s honor by Mr. Mystified himself – Thomas Jackson Park. It’s a fascinating listen.
Join us in Slack chat or in the Orlov sim in Second Life, tonight at 8/7/6/5 PM E/C/M/PDT on radiospiral.net. See you there!
And remember: starting on October 22 (a week from tomorrow!), Meander is moving to Tuesday nights at 9/8/7/6 PM E/C/M/PDT. Same great programming, but in a time slot that works way better for me personally – and is easier to remember, as it’s the same time slot as Around The Campfire (on Wednesdays), Space For Music (on Thursdays), and Ambient Sundays (on… well, durr). Thanks for your support!
