Notes from the Studio
On Easter Monday, I was feeling a bit chill, took my temperature, was not really feverish but higher than it should have been, so I ended up with a weird dream night, sweaty and irregular. What resulted has been my boss being convinced I have covid (note, at least 10 negative lateral flow tests all week) but I have been undeniably exhausted and slept much of the week off. Probably my body getting revenge for my normal work schedule. Anyway this will be the first night since Monday I’ll stay up past midnight (my time), and preparing a show will be more of a challenge than usual. I get bored easily though, and there’s only so much sleep I can manage. Some small improvements in the studio since last show, and a surprise or two, maybe.
Outside it’s gotten sunnier (yay) and cooler (boo) and if you are actually in the sun it’s warm, so that’s a plus. April isn’t one of my favourite months, but it’s worth getting through to get to May. I’m preparing some appropriate vignettes for tonight. Some may recognise the main theme.
Also as usual, I will be virtually performing in Second Life in the Ambient 101 region (the new home of RadioSpiral inworld), and in Opensim in the Dome, now in the Sharing is Caring Family grid. You don’t have to go to either, but if you’re inworld, feel free to stop in. Otherwise, simply tune in to radiospiral.net and listen in, all ears are appreciated.
And we have our Discord chat, if you want to hang out there, I think it’s turned out much better to use Discord, it certainly works better for me.
Thanks for your continued support. We at RadioSpiral appreciate all of your listening time, and wish you a happy weekend.
2 Hours of Live, unedited improvisation and performance

The show starts at 3PM PDT/6PM/EDT/23:00 BST/00:00 WST

If you’ve missed shows or want to explore some of the past Ephemera performances, you can find them at https://aegura2.harriman4.com/ephemera.php which has the past few years of them. Beware, they’re all 2 hours long so there’s a lot to listen to (over 350 hours and climbing).
