On tonight’s Meander, we feature selections from the three most recent albums by Montreal-based ambient musician Sydalesis, all of which have been added to our online rotation in the last few weeks.
The first hour will gradually change from the complete drift of Void Cycle to the very recent Trivium, whose tracks hint at rhythm here and there among the haze. In our second hour, we go full-on sequencer chairdance mode with a selection of tracks from LIVING MACHINE. A Live Ambient microRant is highly unlikely, and if it happens at all, it will be at the end of the show: Mr. Spiral’s studio is in pieces in anticipation of an upcoming trip to Knobcon in Chicago (maybe he’ll see some of you there!).
