Tonight, Meander continues its focus on sequencer-based music – compositions built around the interesting and ever-varying streams of notes and chords produced by that most ‘electronic’ of electronic music devices: the sequencer.
In our first hour, we’ll stay fairly Berlin School conventional, with yummy tracks by Nightcrawlers, Filter-Kaffee, Malaska, Godfried Stockmans, Boson Spin, Hope Street House, Dweller At The Threshold, and Holosphere.
Our second hour takes the sequencer a bit farther afield into more unusual applications, with a variety of cool songs by Robert Otto, VÆRNA, 4T Thieves, Mike Andrews, Chromadrift, Wolfgang Nachahmer, Erik Wøllo, Pekka, zucchini, and the powerhouse superband 1414E08, Member 01, Rauchgemeinschaft Merck 05 and Lutz Thuns. (Don’t look at me – I don’t name them, I just play them.)
Come join the conversation in our Discord, visit us in Second Life (dress to get wet, we’re at the Water Temple in the Ambient Waves region again), or just listen in. We start at 6 PM PST / SLT. See you then!
