“…outdoor f***ing starts today!”
Ah, May. Warm weather at last for most of the Northern Hemisphere, pollinators, songbirds, flowers everywhere, Beltane celebrations full of good clean fun… and the faintest of hopes, here in the land of the snow-capped Thirteeners and Fourteeners silently regarding us tiny creatures at their feet, that we’ve maybe only got one more major blizzard left to clobber us this year.
And what better way to celebrate the darling buds of May than to do a show full of songs reflecting that promise and hope?
Tonight, we celebrate Beltane (a day late, so sue me), the full bloom of Spring, and all it brings with it, with two hours of music from the serene to the sensual, the tranquil to the tribal. We’ll hear tracks from George L Smyth, Wings of an Angel, Pallid Mask, Alessandra Celletti, Bing Satellites, Lucette Bourdin, Fringo Chills, Saul Stokes, DeepWarmth… and multiple tracks from two of our favorite odes to “all that grows and is glad”, Flower Spirits by Conni St. Pierre and Blooming Spring by poemme.
Come join the conversation in our Discord, visit us in Second Life – in keeping with the spirit of these revels, we’ll be in the Jungle Temple (tech allowing) or the Concert Garden (otherwise), both with holiday-appropriate “dress” code – or just listen in. We start at 6 PM PST / SLT. See you then!
