Tonight at 9/8/7/6 PM E/C/M/PST, I will be performing another one of my live ambient pieces exploring the interplay of sound and silence in electronic music. I have tentatively named this series of shows Journey Into Silence.
For the foreseeable future, I will be not be able to host a Meander show on the first Tuesday of every month. When possible, I will make up for the missing show by offering a Journey Into Silence on the day before. As we currently have no regular Monday programming, this will not disrupt the station’s calendar.
It is always possible that another host may elect to “raid” the airwaves on other Monday nights, and/or provide live or recorded music in my absence on the first Tuesday, so it pays to stay tuned.
So: Journey Into Silence tonight and no Meander tomorrow. Join us in Slack chat, in Second Life, or just listen and (I hope) enjoy!
