Notes from the Studio

So now Tier 2 is like Tier 3 used to be, yet on a walk into town to get supplies, 1/3 of people were not wearing masks. People are funny, in a not very nice way, sometimes. This has been an exceptional year for my creativity and I think this Ephemera will show some more of that. I am increasingly inspired to play, practice, improve, and perform. Which is as well as there is not much else to do with it either chucking rain down or there being nothing particularly interesting open, and even then I don’t want to go because of mouth breathers. By this time next year I hope this is a fading memory. Except the creativity part.

Like all Ephemeras, this one is planned to follow a theme, which may or may not go as planned. Typically the deviations are what make it fun. I was in a panic a couple of hours ago, but I’m relaxing now that I feel I know what I’m going to do. It’s funny about that, to be worried that I can’t fill 2 hours even without prep, after doing 159 of these two hour shows plus at least 25 more additional specials over 10 years.

If you want to see me playing in RL, I will be broadcasting this show on twitch.tv as well as playing on the main stage at the Sci-Fi Con in SL and audio via RadioSpiral’s live stream. https://twitch.tv/edisonrex4 for the video feed, each broadcast is an improvement, hopefully this one will be as well. If you just want to listen in the background, that’s ok too..

2 Hours of Live, unedited improvisation and performance

The show starts at 3PM PDT/6PM/EDT/23:00 BST/00:00 WST

To listen, just click the play arrow on our widget at  http://radiospiral.net  or you can tune your media player (or browser) in to https://radiospiral.net/stream.mp3 (or check our site for more advanced instructions).

Please, if you’d like, meet us in the Radiospiral Slack chat room or in Second Life at the Orlov region (we can pick up a landmark to the Sci-Fi Con), http://radiospiral.life

You can join chat by going to http://mrspiral.slack.com and registering for our feature-rich Slack chat room. You’ll usually find our show host in chat too, as well as some of our wonderful collection of musicians.

If you’ve missed shows or want to explore some of the past Ephemera performances, you can find them at https://aegura2.harriman4.com/ephemera.php which has the past few years of them. Beware, they’re all 2 hours long so there’s a lot to listen to (maybe 300 hours or so).
