Tonight on Meander, Mr. Spiral brings you two brand-new albums of eclectic and beautiful ambient music.
In our first hour, we will hear People, Places, Things by David Gerard. David is an old friend of the station, and of all the music he’s released, this new album may be Mr. Spiral’s favorite. With everything from solemn dronescapes to lyrical interludes graced by piano and guitar, there’s a little bit of something for everyone in this great album.
Our second hour, will feature a longplayer from our friend Maurice Gallagher aka grum~pe. Cascade is a wonderfully crafted journey through sequences and rich naturalist sound paintings – 58 minutes of bliss that’s over before you know it.
